How Beverage Processing Plants Select Dairy Drinks

1、What is a milk beverage? A dairy drink refers to a product made from fresh milk or dairy products, with or without crude alcohol processing. Dairy drinks are divided into neutral dairy drinks and acidic dairy drinks.

Neutral dairy drinks: They are mainly made using water and milk as basic raw materials, with other flavor ingredients such as ground coffee, coffee, fruit juice, etc. The edible milk is produced by adjusting color, shade and aroma in multiple ways. Those with a protein content of no less than 1.0% are called dairy drinks.

Acidic dairy drinks: They include alcoholic yogurt drinks and formulated yogurt drinks.

Beverage private labeling:

① Fatty alcohol-type dairy drinks refer to products made from fresh milk or dairy products, together with fatty alcohols, water, thickeners and other auxiliary materials. Depending on the sterilization method, they can be classified into live lactic acid bacteria drinks and non-active lactic acid bacteria drinks.

② Formulated yogurt drinks are made from fresh milk or dairy products, with the addition of water, sugar solution and flavoring agents. The products undergo sterilization treatment and have a longer shelf life than lactic acid beverages.

2. Consider the following points when purchasing dairy drinks:

1）. Carefully check whether all markings on the product package are complete, especially the ingredient list and product composition, to distinguish whether the product is a formulated milk beverage or an alcoholic milk beverage.

2）. Determine whether it is a specialized product or a general product. Select the type that suits your taste, then choose your product according to the protein content stated in the product ingredients.

3）. Since dairy drinks contain various specific bacteria, microbial strains may easily exceed the standard. Pay attention to the shelf life and storage requirements at the time of purchase.
