Sour plum tea is an ancient summer-relieving drink with a history of thousands of years.  In the Qing Dynasty, it was improved by the imperial dining room and became a royal drink for the palace, so-called "Tugong Meijian" ,was later introduced to the people. We’ve been on a real sour plum tea kick since 1983 , and is committed to inheriting and protecting traditional secret recipes, as well as making appropriate innovations to make them more popular among consumers. Based on the concept of "folklore is world-wide", the company is determined to introduce our company's flagship product, sour plum soup, a time-honored folk custom product, from China to the world.

Our direct-drink series product - Osmanthus Flavored Sour Plum Soup was awarded the title of Intangible Cultural Heritage and won the Three-Star Crystal Medal from international taste institute in 2019, 2020, and 2021. The carbonated flavored drink - Meiziduodo- won the Three-Star Crystal Medal from ITT in 2023. Therefore, Golden Spring became the first domestic beverage company to receive this honor.

Factory

After 20 years of market exploration, a modern industrial park with an investment of 1.5 billion, an area of about 25,000 ㎡, 8 automated production lines, and an annual output value of $500M has been built.The factory have been built as the country's first cultural and creative tourist attraction for sour plum tea. We have passed ISO 9001, haccp quality system certification, and obtained multiple patents in beverage production equipment, preparation methods, product packaging and other aspects.
